Hi! Welcome to Saadi Recreational Gynmnastics Club
We are the recreational gymnastics club associated with SAADI, the original girls only competitive club. Saadi was established over 40 years ago and continues to coach girls competitive gymnastics to a high level. You can visit their website here.
If your child hasn't competed before, is a boy or just wants to enjoy high level gymnastics coaching in a less competitive environment then you are at the right place!
The recreational club opened 5 years ago and offers gymnastic coaching to boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 15. The club is British Gymnastics (BG) affiliated and all our coaches are BG qualified to various levels. Whilst mainly non-competitive some gymnasts choose to compete, and have been very successful at recreational competitions across the region. The club also works with Saadi coaches to identify high potential gymnasts at an early stage for progression in to the girls competitive club.
The club's success has meant that for many of our classes we are fully booked but please make sure you register on the waiting list to ensure your child gets a place as quickly as possible.

Which class is right for your child?
Girls aged 5-6 years old.
New entrants training in this Recreational class are introduced to the basics including stretching, flexibility, conditioning, balance and strength. Those who would like to do gymnastics at a competitive level, and who pass their STAR award will be invited to the 4:30-6pm Saturday afternoon development classes. These classes are on a Saturday afternoon and are run by SAADI Womens Artistic gymnastics club.
The class runs on a half termly basis. Gymnasts will be assessed at the end of every half term. Gymnasts will then either progress to SAADI competitive club on a Saturday afternoon 4:30-6pm, stay for another term in the 8:45am class or move to the 9:45 - 10:45 am recreational class, where they will work on the British Gymnastics badge schemes.
Boys and Girls aged 3 and up.
Our Pre School gymnastics scheme has been developed for children from 3 years, focuses on the development of physical literacy and movement skills. Children learn the three fundamental building blocks of movement – Action, Balance and Coordination, with a range of 40 different activities to choose from. The scheme introduces children to physical activity in a fun yet structured environment so that they can safely learn and experiment action, balance and coordination activities.
There are 3 levels of achievement within the scheme, primarily designed to reward participation and effort.

GET KITTED OUT!
Gymnasts do not have to wear club leotards but should wear either their own leotard, a t-shirt or a tracksuit.
We have also designed some funky outerwear in the form of hoodies and tees, all in club colours. The hoodies can be worn to and from classes but not in class, the tees can be worn for both.
To order you hoodie or tee simply fill in the adjacent form and we will give it to you when you attend your next class. And don't worry if the size is wrong we can easily change it once you've tried it on!
Prices £20 for Hoodies (£25 for adult sizes), £12 for Tees (£15 for adult sizes).
